Kevin Jeriod Heard, 56 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to comply with requirements of being a convicted sex offender.
Reports said that Heard failed to notify the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office of his residential move from his home on Nixon Avenue within 72 hours in June of 2025.
Heard is charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
