William Thomas Lewis, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he removed his ankle monitor.
Reports said that Lewis removed his ankle monitor with a pocket knife while under the railroad bridge behind Goodwill store on Hicks Drive.
Lewis is charged with interfering with an electronic monitoring device and probation violation.
