Ricky Howard Mann II, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned and attacked a woman near the intersection of US 411 and Hillindale Drive.
Reports said that Mann grabbed the victim and pulled her into a vehicle. Mann then confined her movement and would not let her leave the vehicle. Police stated that the victim initially attempted to leave the vehicle due to Mann becoming irate and attempting to pull the steering wheel out of her control while she was driving.
Mann is also accused of hitting the victim in the face and head, causing a busted lip along with bruising and bleeding from the back of her neck.
Authorities went on to say when the victim attempted to call 911 for help, Mann grabbed her arm in an attempt to gain control of her phone.
Mann is charged with three counts of battery, false imprisonment, reckless conduct and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
