A Rome-based company that provides products and services to correctional and detention facilities across the country is gaining national recognition for its rapid growth.
Hard Time Products, headquartered in downtown Rome, has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000, ranking No. 973 among the fastest-growing private companies in America.
The company serves correctional and detention agencies nationwide, providing products designed for use in correctional environments. Its business has grown from a Rome-based operation into a company serving agencies across the country.
The national recognition follows another major achievement earlier this year, when Hard Time Products ranked No. 33 on the 2026 Inc. Regionals: Southeast list.
According to the company, Hard Time Products recorded 318% revenue growth over a two-year period, helping earn its place among the fastest-growing businesses in the Southeast and nationally.
Company officials said the rankings are a reflection of the work of the Hard Time Products team and the company’s continued growth while maintaining its headquarters in Rome.
The company’s expansion has allowed it to work with correctional and detention agencies throughout the United States while continuing to operate from downtown Rome.
“We’re certainly proud of the rankings, but the bigger story for us is the team behind that growth,” company officials said.
Hard Time Products CEO Harry Pierce, Senior Vice President Daniel Dougan and members of the company’s team are available to discuss the company’s growth, products and recent national recognition.
The Inc. 5000 honor represents another milestone for the Rome company and highlights the growth of a Northwest Georgia business serving a specialized market across the country.
