Rusty Lyle Epperson, 35 of Rockmart, was arrested this week at a home on Coats Road following what police called a “heated domestic”.
Police said that upon arrival contact was made with both parties. After statements were gathered during the investigation, Rusty Epperson was placed under arrest and transported to Polk County Jail without further incident.
Reports listed the victim at a 21 year-old female.
Epperson is charged with simple battery and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.
