AdventHealth Primary Care+ is expanding its presence in Northwest Georgia with the opening of new primary care locations in Cartersville and Rome, giving residents additional access to preventive and routine health services closer to home.
The openings were marked with ribbon-cutting celebrations attended by local leaders, chamber representatives, community partners and AdventHealth team members.
Representatives from the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce and the Rome Floyd Chamber of Commerce joined AdventHealth officials and members of the community to celebrate the new facilities.
While ribbon cuttings traditionally mark the beginning of a business or organization’s presence in a community, AdventHealth officials said the new locations are intended to become long-term partners for local families.
AdventHealth Primary Care+ focuses on preventive care, treatment for everyday health concerns and helping patients manage their health over time. Primary care providers can also help patients establish regular wellness routines, monitor chronic conditions and determine when specialized care may be needed.
The expansion provides AdventHealth with a larger footprint in Northwest Georgia and reflects the organization’s efforts to make health care more accessible to residents in the region.
AdventHealth officials emphasized that the goal goes beyond treating patients when they are sick, with an emphasis on building relationships and supporting the overall health and well-being of individuals and families.
The new locations are expected to serve patients in the Rome and Cartersville areas while adding to the growing health care options available throughout Northwest Georgia.

The openings also represent continued collaboration between AdventHealth and local organizations as the health system becomes more established in the region.
