Nitalia Renee Brinson, 34 of Decatur, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said she brought a vape pen inside the Juvenile Youth Detention Center and gave it to her son.
Reports stated that Brinson removed the pen from her chest area and placed the vape in a Skittles bag before handing it over to her son.
Brinson is charged with take/cause to introduce into juvenile detention center any item without consent.
