Greater Christ Temple is relaunching its free student tutorial program this fall with a new name and a partnership designed to provide additional academic support for local students.

The program, now known as the SOAR Learning Center, will begin serving students on September 16 through a partnership between Greater Christ Temple and Berry College.

The free program will offer tutoring, homework assistance, and support in reading and math for elementary, middle and high school students, as capacity allows.

Organizers say the goal is to provide local families with a free resource to help students strengthen their academic skills and receive additional assistance with schoolwork.

The partnership with Berry College will provide an opportunity for students to receive support from members of the college community while Greater Christ Temple continues its commitment to serving local families.

Parents and families interested in the program are encouraged to learn more about the SOAR Learning Center and available tutoring opportunities. Space and services will be based on program capacity.

Greater Christ Temple is encouraging community organizations, schools, media outlets and others to help spread the word about the free program so more local families are aware of the resource.
