A homeless 34 year-old Rome woman, Myranda Leigh Smith, was arrested this week at a home on Calhoun Avenue for various drug charges.
Reports said that officers located methamphetamine and loose Gabapentin pills, along with used syringes, inside a purse located in a backpack that was sitting nearby on a living room couch.
Smith is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession/sale of dangerous drugs, drugs not in original container, and two counts probation violation.
