Hunter Jay Cox, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found intruding railroad tracks that are owned by Norfolk Southern.
Police said that they found Cox near Tolbert Street impeding the flow of the train.
Officers went on to say that Cox proceeded to run from officers and ignored commands to stop.
Cox is charged with intruding railroad tracks and obstruction.
