Justin Elijah Miles, 23 of Detroit, was jailed in Rome after reports said he cashed a stolen check from Coosa Valley Credit Union.
Police said that Miles cashed CVCU’s check for $10,406.04 to his Wells Fargo account knowing that the check would not be honored.
Miles is charged with deposit account fraud.
