Lakyn Shaun Dougherty, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she shoved her elderly father-in-law down stairs, causing serious injury.
Reports added that after shoving the victim down the stairs, Dougherty threw a glass of wine at him. The incident occurred in front of the victim’s son.
Police stated that the victim suffered an injury to his head during the incident.
The incident occurred at their home at 6 Leisure Drive.
Dougherty is charged with simple battery, family violence act.
