John Paul Keene, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned and attacked a woman at a home on Todd Street.
Police said that Keane imprisoned a woman with whom he had a romantic relationship inside the home. Reports stated that Keene is also accused of leaving visible injuries on the woman’s body.
Police added that Keene was also found in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine that was packaged for resale.
Keene is charged with battery, false imprisonment, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and probation violation.
