Cristobal Anibal Luis Sanchez, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found driving with forged license plate.
Police said that they stopped Sanchez for driving 44 mph in a 25 mph zone on North 2nd Avenue. During the stop, officers said that they discovered that Sanchez was driving unlicensed and with a forged Illinois state tag.
Sanchez is charged with 1st degree forgery, driving without a license and speeding.
