Justin Taylor Hunsicker, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a 35 year-old woman after attempting to take her 2 year-old child without her permission.
Police said that Hunsicker placed the child in his truck with the intent to leave. Police added that Hunsicker had no legal rights over the child.
Reports went on to say that when the child’s mother attempted to stop him, Hunsicker slapped a cup of coffee from her hand.
Hunsicker is charged with simple battery and interference with custody.
