Bobby Gene Castillo, 35 of Dalton, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found walking on SR 101 while drunk and high.
Police said that Castillo was taken into custody near Spur 101 after observing him walking while drinking and on narcotics. Police added that a search resulted in them locating Xanax in an incorrect bottle as well as loose pills in a bag.
Castillo is charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, pedestrian under the influence and drugs not in original container.
