In response to the recent announcement that Constellium Automotive USA in White, Georgia will reduce its workforce, affecting dozens of local families, Dr. Raj Miniyar, President and CEO of Dr. Miniyar’s Pediatrics, P.C., announced today that his practice will provide free pediatric healthcare services to children of employees who lose their jobs as a result of the layoffs.

The layoffs are expected to impact many hardworking families throughout Bartow County and neighboring communities. Recognizing the financial uncertainty that often follows job loss, Dr. Miniyar said his practice is committed to ensuring that children continue to have access to quality healthcare during this difficult transition.

“As a Pediatrician, and member of this community, I believe we must stand together when our neighbors face challenging times,” said Dr. Raj Miniyar. “When a parent loses a job, a child should never lose access to medical care. Our goal is to remove that worry so families can focus on moving forward and rebuilding.”

Under this community assistance initiative, eligible children of employees directly affected by the Constellium layoffs will be able to receive free pediatric office visits through Dr. Miniyar’s Pediatrics for a designated period.

“Our goal is simple,” Dr. Miniyar added. “We want parents to focus on finding their next opportunity and caring for their families—not worrying about whether their child can see a doctor when they need one.”

Dr. Miniyar’s Pediatrics has served Northwest Georgia families for more than two decades and have offices in Rome, Cartersville, Cedartown, and Trion.

“For more than twenty years, our community has trusted us to care for its children,” said Dr. Miniyar. “When families face unexpected hardships, we have a responsibility to help. We want every affected parent to know that their child’s healthcare will not be forgotten during this difficult transition.”

To keep the process simple, families do not need to provide paperwork from their employer or proof of layoff. The easiest way to request an appointment is to visit www.drminiyar.com and click on the “New Patient” tab. Our goal is to remove barriers and make it as easy as possible for affected families to obtain care for their children during this challenging time.
