AdventHealth Medical Group Georgia has named Sara Hayes as a recipient of its IRIS Award, a quarterly recognition honoring team members who exemplify the organization’s service standards and commitment to whole-person care.
The IRIS Award, which stands for Inspiring, Respectful, Individualized and Supportive, recognizes team members who go above and beyond to create meaningful, compassionate experiences for patients, families and fellow team members.
Sara, who serves patients at AdventHealth Medical Group Ear, Nose & Throat Calhoun, was nominated by both a patient and physician colleague for her unwavering compassion, personalized approach to care and dedication to supporting patients through every step of their health journey.
“Sara has been exceptional during every visit my family and I have had,” a patient shared. “She takes the time to truly connect, remembering us by name and making the office feel welcoming and personal. What stands out most is her genuine warmth and the way she communicates and puts you at ease. Sara truly embodies compassion and whole-person care.”
Dr. Sally Smalley also praised Sara’s impact, noting her ability to treat every patient as an individual while offering empathy, advocacy and encouragement.
