Brittany Nicole Coggins, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she failed to send her four children to school, resulting in serious truancy.
Police said that one of Coggins children accumulated 23, 15, 10, and 8 unexcused absences. Reports added that Coggins also failed to attend a truancy treatment meeting back in January.
Coggins is charged with four counts of mandatory education of children.
