Rodneyshia Jermayian Shonta Dennis, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she drove her vehicle into a crowd of people on Branhan Avenue.
Reports said that Dennis, who was found to have been driving under the influence of alcohol, struck two people, causing permanent serious injury. An open container of alcohol was later found in her vehicle.
Dennis is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, serious injury by vehicle, DUI, reckless driving and open container.
