Benjamin Lee Corbin, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week for a hit and run that occurred at the intersection of Addington and Phill Vann Drives.
Reports said that Corbin struck a power pole, knocking out power to several streets. He then proceeded to leave the scene while damaging others property in the process. Investigators stated that Corbin’s truck was later found at his home, where he admitted to the crime.
Corbin is charged with duty upon striking fixture.
