Alvin Demarcus Garrett, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said a traffic stop resulted in officers finding drugs and the suspect being under the influence.
Reports said that Garrett was pulled over on Calhoun Road when it was reported that he was found to have been driving under the influence and with an open container. A search then allegedly resulted in officers finding multiple baggies of marijuana.
Garrett is charged with two counts possession, distribution of marijuana, DUI and opened container violation.
