Summer Jordan Garner, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she threatened to kill her landlord.
Police said that Garner wrote a letter to the 65 year-old victim stating that she was going to kill someone if she did not receive $120,000 from the victim. Police added that the victim is considered an elderly person at the age of 65 years. Reports went on to say that the incident occurred on East 13th Street.
Garner is charged with terroristic threats/acts and exploitation of the elderly.
