Megan Tenille Jones, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found stalking her ex-girlfriend.
Reports said that Jones was found in violation of a conditional bond and a protective order by contacting the victim for the purpose of harassing and intimidating her. Police stated that Jones called the victim multiple times and messaged her on Facebook, stating, “elope with me”. Jones also messaged the victim money through Venmo, stating, “Please unblock me, I can’t go on like this”.
Jones is charged with aggravated stalking.
