Joshua Michael Mendez, 45 of Rome, was arrested on various drug charges following a motorcycle stop on Highway 411 at Dodd Blvd.
Officers said that they initiated the stop after they allegedly saw Mendez’s license plate covered. During the stop, police said that they discovered that there was no insurance on the motorcycle and that Mendez’s license had been revoked.
While taking Mendez into custody, police said that they found methamphetamine and marijuana in his possession.
Mendez is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, displaying of a license plate and driving without insurance.
