Timothy Linell Long, 34 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he kicked two police officers in the face, causing visible injuries and bleeding.
Reports added that another officer was kicked in the elbow when placing Long into custody.
After arriving at the jail, officers said that Long was found in possession of marijuana. He is also accused of telling officers that he was going to “choke him” and if he shot him he would die. Long also stated that if he the officer in public that “it’s over”.
Long is charged with three counts battery, four counts obstruction, terroristic threats/acts, possession of marijuana, possession of drugs by an inmate, and probation violation.
