Marisela Lynae Gonzalez, 26 of Cedartown, was arrested this week following an altercation with medical professionals at Polk Medical Center.
Reports said that officers were called to the hospital after being notified that they were having a problem with a patient. During the interaction with the patient, they were placed in a standard pair of handcuffs that were checked for fit and double locked before another officer arrived to transport the patient to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Police did not list any other details.
Gonzalez is charged with simple battery, interference with medical professionals, and obstruction.
