Elder Francisco Pozo, 27 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted a 27 year-old female.
Police said that they were dispatched to a home on Johnson Lake Road in reference to a heated domestic dispute. While en route, Polk County Dispatch continued to give officers’ updates as the domestic dispute intensified. Polk County Dispatch informed the officer that Pozo had destroyed the victim’s house, and then began to beat on the vehicle as she was hiding in it.
Additionally, Polk County Dispatch could overhear the male threatening the victim, and screaming at her to get out of the vehicle.
Pozo is charged with simple assault.
