An Armuchee High School parent, Sarah Davisson Fellows, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she allowed her 15 year-old child to miss 32 days of school this year.
Reports said that the parent had received multiple notices for truancy but still allowed her child to miss school. Police said that out of the 32 days, 25 were unexcused.
Fellows is charged with the mandatory education of children.
