Lesa Paulette Debenport, 54 of Summerville, was arrested in Floyd County after reports said she was found with drugs while driving under the influence.
Officers said that they stopped Dabenport on Floyd Springs Road for driving while holding her cellphone. Officers went on to say that during the stop they discovered that she was driving under the influence of drugs.
A search then resulted in officers reportedly finding a THC vape.
Debenport is charged with DUI, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and distracted hands free law.
