Phillip Cornell Williams, 51 of Summerville, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he pointed a gun at a 48 year-old woman at the Circle K on Shorter Avenue.
The victim reported that she felt in fear of her life.
Williams is charged with aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
