Truth in Nature, a long-standing national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is excited to announce the launch of its outdoor mentorship and ministry programs for fatherless boys in Rockmart, GA., and surrounding communities. The new Rockmart Chapter will officially begin programming in May 2026, and applications are now being accepted for both participants and mentors.
Founded in 2009 in Dallas, GA, Truth in Nature has grown to reach, inspire, support, and engage young men from fatherless homes across 27 locations in 13 states. As a Christian-based organization, it provides boys the opportunity to connect with dedicated male mentors in an outdoor setting, guiding them toward becoming Christian men and positive, contributing members of their communities.
During the weekend-style monthly programs, boys and mentors come together in a group-based mentoring environment centered on outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, archery, pioneer skills, and more. These outdoor experiences serve as the backdrop for Truth in Nature’s mission: to make a positive impact on boys from fatherless and single-parent households by building self-esteem, developing character, and cultivating faith in Christ. Through consistent mentoring relationships, the program helps fill the void of an absent father by connecting boys with strong male role models from their local community.
“We’re honored to bring Truth in Nature’s mission to the Rockmart area and to serve boys who need positive male role models,” said Payden Bennett, Program Director. “Our programs provide adventure, mentorship, and a Christ-centered foundation—free of charge to families.”
Eligibility & Contact Information: Boys must be middle or high school aged and come from a fatherless or single-parent home to participate.
