A wanted fugitive from New Jersey, Michael Robert Bryant JR, 53 of Bronx NY, was jailed in Rome this week for identity fraud.
Reports said that Bryant used a Rome man’s identity to withdraw cash from United Community Bank back on September 18, 2025. Police did not indicate how much money was taken.
Bryant is charged with identity fraud and fugitive from justice.
