A convicted sex offender, Garth Ramos, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to notify authorities of a residential move.
Police said that Ramos, a sex offender from Massachusetts, failed to report his move to Northridge Court in Rome.
Ramos was convicted of indecent assault and battery and open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior back in 2013.
Ramos is charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
