Tiffany Lynn Smith, 52 of Fleming Island, FL, was jailed this week after reports said she kicked a police officer in the chest while being placed under arrest on Broad Street near East 2nd Avenue
Police said that they found Smith in an intoxicated condition “with barf all over her” and “unable to hold proper conversation”. Police added that Smith then refused to obey the commands given to her and then resisted getting inside the patrol vehicle. Then while being placed in the back of the patrol vehicle, Smith is accused of kicking the officer in the chest.
Smith is charged with public drunk, simple battery against a police officer, felony obstruction of a police officer and willful obstruction.
