Cody Ray Garrison, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of blue oval pills, whixh were later identified as a generic version of Xanax.
Police said that that Garrison was taken into custody near the intersection of East 2nd Ave and Riverbend Drive.
Garrison is charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.
