Ashley Michelle Depaz-Moscoso, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she burglarized a home on East Main Street.
Reports said that on January 24, 2026, Depaz-Moscoso entered the home and stole a Canik 9mm semi-automatic handgun valued at $449.99.
Police added that Depaz-Moscoso then proceeded to cut holes in an air mattress and damage his Xbox controller. The total value of damage done was listed at $190.
Depaz-Moscoso is charged with first degree burglary , felony theft by taking and criminal trespass.
