Glenda Ann Waller, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was caught shoplifting from the Dollar General on Kingston Highway.
Reports said that Waller concealed the items with the intent to deprive the store of less than $500 in merchandise.
Police added that Waller then ran from the store while throwing the items when told to stop by an officer.
Waller is charged with theft by shoplifting and obstruction of law enforcement.
