Isaiah Alphonzo Driver, 58 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shoved his wife to the ground.
The victim reportedly suffered visible injuries to her right knee.
Reports added that the incident occurred in front of their daughter.
Driver is charged with battery and 3rd degree cruelty to children.
