Daniel Scott Roche, 53, of Rome, was arrested after investigators determined he illegally harvested two white-tailed bucks—an eight-point and a seven-point—after exceeding his seasonal bag limit.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is seeking restitution for the two bucks, which are valued at $2,000 each.
Roche is charged with hunting without a license, two counts of possessing more than the legal bag limit, and two counts of unlawful ownership or custody of wildlife.
