Nicholas Augustus King, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat a 66 year-old man over the head with a rake.
Reports stated that the incident occurred at a home on Dublin Circle back in October.
Police added that King proceeded to remove his ankle monitor so that he could not be found.
King is charged with aggravated assault, exploitation of disabled/elderly person, and unlawful removal of an electronic device.
