Nereida Ester Blankenship, 63 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she was found in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on Calhoun Avenue.
Police said that they pulled Blankenship over for running a red light when they detected a marijuana odor from her vehicle. A search then resulted in them allegedly finding a marijuana cigarette.
Reports added that Blankenship also told police that she had moved residences a year ago and never had her address changed.
Blankenship is charged with possession of marijuana, DUI, failure to obey traffic control devices and failure to change driver’s license within 60 days of address change.
