David Cruz-Guzman 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he shoved his 15 year-old girlfriend to the ground, then abandoned her on the side of the street.
Police said that the victim suffered visible injuries to both her knees and right hand as a result of Cruz-Guzman’s action.
Reports went on to say that Cruz-Guzman left the victim standing downtown in freezing temperatures without a ride home.
Guzman is charged with battery and 2nd degree cruelty to children.
