Sharnica Faustin, 21 of Boynton Beach, FL, was jailed in Rome after reports said she conspired to sneak drugs into the Floyd County Prison.
Reports stated that Faustin conspired with two others to get the drugs into the prison.
Police said that Faustin received instructions from Darius Hunter, an inmate, to have another person Travis Wemby, to place contraband in the restroom of the 3rd Avenue parking deck to be picked up and taken back to the prison.
Officers were able to intercept the drugs, which is described as “strips”, before the inmate could retrieve them.
Faustin is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.
