Alison Nichole Tapp, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports she crashed her vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol.
Reports said that Tapp struck a road sign near the intersection of Burnett Ferry Road and Billy Pyle Roads.
Police stated that Tapp admitted to having 6 shots of tequila before driving.
Tapp is charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane, duty upon striking fixture and probation violation.
