Zakelvis Mylea Mayes, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he violated a court order to stay away from a 35 year-old woman.
Reports said that Mayes followed, placed under surveillance or contacted the victim at a home on Smith Street for the purpose of harassing or intimidating her.
Police stated that the incident occurred just before midnight on Thursday.
Mayes is charged with aggravated stalking.
