Tommy Shard Goins, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shoved an elderly man to the ground.
Police said that Goins shoved a 71 year-old man to the ground in front of a child at a home on Burnett Ferry Road.
Goins is charged with battery, exploitation/intimidation of the elderly, cruelty to children and probation violation.
