Terry Lynn Coots, 64 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said that they found methamphetamine in his possession during a traffic stop on Rockmart Highway.
Police said that the vehicle was stopped for a brake light and seat belt violation when a K8 officer alerted for possible drugs. A search then allegedly resulted in officers finding two bags of methamphetamine.
Coots is charged with possession of methamphetamine and a seat belt violation.
