Two Georgia Lottery players won $1 million each playing the Platinum Premium Play scratch-off ticket.
The players, residents of Canton and Augusta, both claimed their winnings on Dec. 29.
The tickets were purchased at Marathon Food Mart, 150 Gadsden Road SW in Cave Spring, and Fuel Express, 2700 Peach Orchard Road in Augusta, respectively.
Last week, Georgia Lottery players claimed $45,694,604 in winnings from scratch-off tickets.In addition, several tickets won the $10,000 top prize from Georgia FIVE drawings at the following locations: Dec. 28 midday drawing: Barrett Parkway Circle K, 550 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway NW in Kennesaw Dec. 29 midday drawing: two tickets from Hari Food Mart, 4207 Augusta Road in Garden City Dec. 29 midday drawing: Chevron Browns Mill Road, 5154 Browns Mill Road in Lithonia
