Ronald Eric McDanel, 53 of Marietta, was arrested in Rome this week after he failed to notify police of his move from the Budget Inn on Martha Berry Highwya.
Reports said that he moved to Marietta from the hotel back in September 2024. Law requires sex offenders to register their new address within 72 hours of a move.
McDanel is charged with failure to register as a s offender and probation violation.
